Netherlands were held to a 1-1 draw by already-relegated Bosnia-Herzegovina in their final UEFA Nations League group stage match in Zenica.

Brian Brobbey put Netherlands ahead in the 22nd minute, scoring his first international goal with a header from Noa Lang’s cross.

However, Bosnia equalized with 15 minutes remaining, as Ermedin Demirovic netted on the rebound after Mark Flekken had initially saved Edin Dzeko’s shot.

Netherlands dominated the first half, with Bosnia keeper Martin Zlomislic saving a powerful effort from Dutch captain Stefan de Vrij.

Joshua Zirkzee missed a golden opportunity to double the lead before halftime, and Bosnia posed some danger in the second half.

Dzeko was denied by Flekken and had a goal ruled out for offside.

Despite introducing key players like Cody Gakpo, Donyell Malen, and Wout Weghorst, the Dutch struggled to break down the Bosnian defense after the equalizer.

Jorrel Hato’s late shot sailed over the bar, and the match ended level.

Bosnia finished bottom of Group A3, while the Netherlands secured second place behind Germany.

The draw means the Dutch will face one of France, Portugal, or Spain in the Nations League quarter-finals in March, with the second leg to be played away from home.
