Musanze FC Clears Out Six Players Ahead of New Season

Musanze FC release six veterans while AS Kigali bring in Nigerian defender Isaac Ezeh as both clubs prep for major changes in the new Rwandan football season

Six experienced names have exited Musanze FC as the club makes space for fresh arrivals under new coach Emmanuel Ruremesha — www.isagoal.com reports.

According to The New Times, the decision to part ways came despite all six players still having a year left on their contracts.

Those released include goalkeeper Steven Ntaribi, defenders Gad Ndizeye and Valeur Nduwayo, plus Clément Nshimiyimana, Elissa Tinyimana, and Christophe Uwiringiyimana.

Each of them received two months’ salary as compensation.

New faces joining Musanze are Charles Mutsinzi and Emmanuel Fils Niyitanga from Sunrise FC, both penning two-year deals.

Meanwhile, Nigerian center-back Isaac Ezeh has signed a two-year deal with AS Kigali after spells with Bugesera FC and La Jeunesse.

He reunites with compatriot Frank Onyeabor at the Kigali-based club.

Club captain Janvier Benedata extended his contract until 2027, while Arsène Tuyisenge also joined on loan from APR FC.
