Samuel Chukwueze’s future at AC Milan has entered a tense phase as interest from Fulham and Spanish clubs meets stiff resistance from the Italian giants – www.isagoal.com reports.
According to reports, Milan will only sanction a permanent transfer, refusing to consider any loan offers.
The Super Eagles winger joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal in 2023 for around €21 million but has struggled for rhythm in Serie A.
Italian journalist Marco Guidi explained, “At the moment, he stays in Milan because no bid has arrived for him. Milan don’t want to sell him on loan, only through a transfer.”
Milan are said to be demanding between €20m and €25m, a figure that has deterred potential buyers.
Guidi added, “The asking price is around €20–25 million, not less. So, for now, he stays at AC Milan.”
Fulham remain interested but face competition from clubs in Spain who are closely monitoring the situation.
The Nigerian’s reported €4m annual net salary has also emerged as a stumbling block for suitors.
Guidi noted, “It’s not so easy to sell a player with that salary, and Milan won’t let him go on loan.”
Tactical concerns also weigh on his situation, as Allegri’s current system appears not to favour Chukwueze’s style.
The winger’s place in Milan’s plans remains in doubt as the transfer window edges toward closure.
