Manchester City have reached an agreement with AC Milan for the transfer of Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. According to PA Sport, the deal is valued at €55 million (around £46 million), with the 26-year-old expected to sign a five-year contract ahead of the new Premier League season.
Reijnders, who joined AC Milan from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, impressed despite Milan finishing eighth in Serie A last season, missing out on European competition. He contributed 15 goals during the 2024-25 campaign and is set to strengthen Manchester City’s midfield options under Pep Guardiola.
The midfielder’s arrival comes as Manchester City prepares for the Club World Cup, where they will face Morocco’s Wydad AC on June 18. Reijnders is expected to add creativity and goal threat following the exit of Kevin De Bruyne.
