Liverpool will celebrate their Premier League triumph with a major parade through the city on Monday, May 26, with thousands expected to line the streets.

According to Mirror Football, the Reds sealed their 20th league title on April 27 with a 2–0 win over Tottenham, marking their second Premier League crown in five years and Arne Slot’s first as manager. The parade comes five years after their last major city-wide celebration, having missed out on a Premier League parade in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

When is Liverpool’s Trophy Parade?

The Liverpool title parade begins at 2:30pm (UK time) on Monday, May 26 — which coincides with the Spring Bank Holiday — and is expected to run for up to five hours.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as large crowds are anticipated across the city.

What is the Route of Liverpool’s Parade?

The route mirrors that of Liverpool’s 2019 and 2022 parades:

  • Start: Allerton Maze (South Liverpool)
  • Via: Queens Drive → Mill Bank → West Derby Road → Islington → Leeds Street → The Strand
  • Finish: Blundell Street

This allows fans across multiple neighbourhoods to catch a glimpse of their heroes on the open-top bus.

How to Watch the Liverpool Parade Live

The parade will be streamed live on Liverpool FC’s official YouTube channel from 1pm (UK time). Fans can also follow updates via Mirror Football’s live blog, which will provide real-time coverage, images, and key moments.

Will Jurgen Klopp Attend?

Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who led the Reds to their 2020 title win, has confirmed his attendance. Although he won’t be on the bus, he said he wants to be “where the people are.”

“Yes, the plan is [to be there for the celebrations] but not on the bus. I will be there where the people are. That’s the idea,” Klopp said back in March.

He was seen in Liverpool over the weekend, attending the LFC Foundation’s gala dinner and the final home match of the season.

What Liverpool Are Celebrating

  • Premier League Champions 2024/25
  • 20th Top-Flight League Title in Club History
  • Second Premier League Title (first was in 2020)
  • Manager Arne Slot’s first major trophy with the club

With the parade falling on a bank holiday, fans across Liverpool will have the opportunity to enjoy the celebrations in full force.
