Leicester City are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha on a season-long loan from Galatasaray.
This move would be a significant addition for the Foxes as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.
Wilfried Zaha joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2023 after his contract with Crystal Palace expired.
During his debut season in Turkey, Zaha contributed ten goals and five assists in 42 games.
However, his tenure has been mixed, with him eventually slipping down the pecking order at Galatasaray.
This situation opens the door for Leicester to capitalize on the opportunity.
If the deal goes through, Zaha would become Leicester’s fifth signing of the summer, joining Bobby De Cordova Reid, Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, and Abdul Fatawu.
This transfer could be a pivotal move for Zaha, who has shown interest in returning to the English top flight, where he previously starred with Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace had also expressed interest in re-signing Zaha for what would have been his third stint at the club.
However, Leicester appear to have the upper hand in securing his signature.
Zaha scored 90 goals and provided 62 assists in 458 games during his time at Selhurst Park.
