Iwobi, Orban, Oshoala, Onuachu, Moffi all find decisive moments in thrilling weekend action

Nigerian football stars lit up Europe and beyond as Iwobi powered Fulham, Orban stunned Juventus, Oshoala dazzled for Al-Hilal, and Onuachu, Moffi struck again

Alex Iwobi delivered another big moment for Fulham as they stormed back to beat Brentford 3-1 at Craven Cottage – www.isagoal.com reports.

The midfielder struck in the 38th minute after Brentford failed to clear their lines, then set up Harry Wilson just moments later with a perfectly weighted pass.

Fulham coach Marco Silva praised Iwobi’s influence, noting his ability to flip games in a matter of minutes.

Calvin Bassey was also solid at the back, while Samuel Chukwueze and Frank Onyeka had to settle for the bench.

In Serie A, 22-year-old Gift Orban grabbed the spotlight with a superb performance for Hellas Verona in a 1-1 draw against Juventus, according to Soccernet.ng.

Orban leveled from the penalty spot just before halftime and kept Juve’s defenders on their toes with eight attempts on goal.

The forward’s display earned him the man-of-the-match award and his first Serie A goal against Italy’s most decorated side.

Over in Saudi Arabia, Asisat Oshoala continued her blistering start with Al-Hilal, scoring and assisting in a 3-2 victory over Al Ahli.

The Super Falcons star now has two goals in two games since leaving Bay FC, with her impact already making waves in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

Paul Onuachu also delivered in Turkey, grabbing his third league goal of the season for Trabzonspor with the help of goalkeeper André Onana.

Onana’s booming 60-yard pass set up Onuachu, who rounded the opposing keeper before calmly finishing to seal a 1-1 draw with Gaziantep.

In France, Terem Moffi found the net for OGC Nice but could do little to stop Brest from running away with a 4-1 win.

Despite the defeat, Moffi’s sharp strike marked his second goal of the Ligue 1 campaign.
