Isak Not for Sale as Howe Plots PSR Transfer Raid

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has confirmed the club’s intent to keep star striker Alexander Isak amid growing transfer speculation. He also revealed that the club is preparing to act quickly in the summer transfer window, with an eye on clubs under financial strain.

According to MailOnline, Howe pointed to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) deadline on June 30 as a key factor that could allow Newcastle to secure high-quality signings from clubs forced to sell. Last summer, Newcastle faced their own PSR pressures, which nearly led to the sale of Anthony Gordon to Liverpool before deals involving Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson eased the situation.

This time around, Howe is eager for Newcastle to benefit from other teams’ financial difficulties. Aston Villa and Bournemouth are among the sides reportedly needing to sell before the PSR deadline.

Howe emphasized the importance of timing, saying he wants new players in before pre-season begins in early July. A goalkeeper, center-back, and right-winger are among his targets as the club looks to strengthen after three windows without a first-team signing.

While interest in Isak is expected, Howe has made his stance clear. “He is not for sale from my perspective. I want to build a squad and I want the strongest squad possible for next season,” he said.

Howe acknowledged the challenges of early summer transfers but remains focused on strengthening the team rather than being forced into selling key players. His priority is maintaining stability while improving squad depth and quality.
