Inter Pause Lookman Chase as Atalanta Hold Out on Price

Inter Milan agree terms with Ademola Lookman but face a frustrating wait as Atalanta refuse to lower their €50 million valuation

Ademola Lookman has already packed his bags for a move to Inter Milan, but Atalanta aren’t ready to open the door just yet — www.isagoal.com reports.

Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews revealed that Inter Milan have already submitted two separate offers for the Nigerian forward, including one worth €45 million, but Atalanta won’t blink unless they get closer to their €50 million demand.

Lookman, who’s had standout performances in Serie A, wants the switch badly and has agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri.

“He’s made his intentions clear. The delay is not from the player’s side,” a close source said.

Despite Inter’s interest and the player’s willingness, Atalanta continue to hold firm and haven’t responded officially to the proposals on the table.

Negotiations have gone cold, and Inter’s patience is wearing thin as they explore backup plans, with Jadon Sancho and Christopher Nkunku now on their radar.

Lookman hasn’t joined Atalanta’s preseason group and remains away from Bergamo in an attempt to push the deal forward.

Inter Milan still see him as a priority, but without movement soon, they may be forced to look elsewhere.
