Victor Osimhen has rejoined Galatasaray on a permanent basis after an explosive loan season that saw him score 37 goals and provide seven assists across 41 appearances —www.isagoal.com reports.
Galatasaray finalized a €75 million deal with Napoli for the Nigerian forward, including a 10% sell-on clause and restrictions on any return to Serie A within two years.
Club president Dursun Özbek confirmed the club’s determination to target major trophies with Osimhen now fully onboard, saying, “The entire Galatasaray community expected this. We’ve done everything possible to make it happen.”
Osimhen helped deliver a domestic double last season and is now expected to lead the charge in the UEFA Champions League.
Vice President Abdullah Kavukçu noted the club handled the signing without external financial support.
Osimhen himself was emotional about his return, adding, “I feel great. I’m proud to be back. We’re ready to fight for every trophy.”
He also thanked the club’s leadership for pushing through the deal, describing the welcome he received as overwhelming.
Galatasaray are continuing to strengthen, having also landed Leroy Sane and nearing a deal with Manchester City’s Ederson Moraes.
