Samuel Chukwueze’s future at AC Milan is now under serious discussion as Fulham and multiple Spanish clubs circle for his signature – www.isagoal.com reports.
Fulham have already sent in a formal loan proposal that includes an option to buy, but Milan are pushing for a guaranteed purchase clause.
Spanish media suggest that La Liga clubs are ready to challenge Fulham for the Nigerian winger, while interest has also come from Turkey.
Chukwueze has found playing time hard to come by at Milan despite joining from Villarreal in 2023 for €21.1 million plus add-ons.
Since his arrival, the winger has managed eight goals and six assists in 69 appearances, numbers that have not fully met the expectations at San Siro.
“Fulham remain keen because Marco Silva sees Chukwueze’s speed and direct play as vital for his attack,” insiders revealed.
The London side previously tried to secure his services in January, but talks broke down late in negotiations.
This summer, Silva has returned with renewed intent as injuries to Adama Traore, Reiss Nelson and Harry Wilson left Fulham short of wide options.
Chukwueze, capped 46 times by Nigeria, is also looking for consistent minutes to boost his form ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 26-year-old is already listed in Nigeria’s 31-man provisional squad for September’s World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
