Felix Agu Targeted by Top Clubs After Super Eagles Switch

Premier League, Serie A, and Bundesliga clubs are chasing Super Eagles defender Felix Agu after he dumped Germany for Nigeria in a major international switch

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Felix Agu is drawing attention from top clubs in the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A following his decision to represent Nigeria at international level, IsaGoal can report.

Sport BILD, via Yahoo Sports, revealed that several clubs have already contacted Agu’s camp, but none have submitted an official offer yet.

The 25-year-old defender currently plays for Werder Bremen and is under contract until 2027, though his €8 million release clause expired at the end of May.

With that clause now off the table, Werder Bremen controls the terms of any potential deal, making negotiations more complex.

Agu played a key role for Bremen last season and returned strongly from injury to help the team close out the campaign.

“Felix has developed tremendously,” said Werder Bremen’s head of football, Clemens Fritz, to DeichStube. “He’s very much part of our plans going forward.”

The full-back recently switched international allegiance from Germany to Nigeria, debuting for the Super Eagles against Jamaica in May.

Sources close to Agu suggest he is open to a move abroad if a suitable offer comes in before the transfer window closes.

With clubs across three major European leagues monitoring the situation, Agu could be on the move sooner rather than later.

His versatility, pace, and attacking instinct make him an attractive option for teams seeking reinforcement at full-back.

The coming weeks will determine whether Werder Bremen holds onto one of their standout players — or cashes in amid growing interest.
