Ola Aina has committed his future to Nottingham Forest by signing a new three-year contract with the Premier League side, Isagoal can report.
The 28-year-old joined from Torino in 2023 on a free transfer and quickly became a regular starter under manager Nuno Espirito Santo. The Nigerian international has played 59 matches for the club, scoring three goals and assisting twice.
Speaking after the renewal, Aina said, “I’m over the moon, I can’t wait to continue this journey with the club.”
He added, “It’s always felt like home here, and I’m happy to be staying. Now my focus is on getting ready for the new season.”
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis praised Aina’s influence, saying, “Ola has skill, determination, and character in abundance.”
“He represents everything we want at Forest and has made a big impact since his arrival,” Marinakis continued.
Chief Football Officer Ross Wilson also shared his thoughts, saying, “Ola’s personality and impact on and off the pitch have been outstanding.”
“He believes in our vision and ambition, and we’re thrilled he’s staying longer.”
Forest narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot last season after a narrow defeat to Chelsea on the final day.
