After turning down a substantial renewal offer from Fulham, which would have placed him among their top earners, Tosin opted for a move to Chelsea last summer, according to Chelsea’s official website.
The 26-year-old defender was active across five different tournaments and found the net five times — the most he’s ever managed in one season.
He struck in four separate competitions, scoring against FC Noah in the UEFA Conference League, Esperance during the FIFA Club World Cup, and netting a goal in the Premier League against Southampton.
He also grabbed a double in the FA Cup against Morecambe, boosting his attacking record as a defender.
