Raphael Varane believes Manchester United will be able to find a way to make up for Casemiro’s absence following his four-match ban due to his red card against Southampton.
After consulting with VAR, the referee initially gave Casemiro a yellow card which was later upgraded to a red. Consequently, he will miss three Premier League matches as well as the FA Cup Quarter Final against Fulham.
Varane discussed how during his time at Real Madrid Casemiro only received two red cards both in lieu of two yellows and spoke of his dissatisfaction on the referee’s decision despite the positive reaction from United’s ten men for an hour post their 7-0 Liverpool defeat.
He stated how proud he was of the team spirit and mentioned how they needed to maintain their confidence which comes when reflecting on recent good results apart from one game at Anfield.
