Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of match officials that will take charge of matches when the AFCON kicks off next year in Cameroon.
The list of the selected referees which was released on Tuesday evening, had only one Nigerian referee, Samuel Pwadutakam make the cut.
He was listed as an assistant referee while Morocco has the highest number of candidates on the list with 8.
In total, 64 match officials were listed, 20 will also work as Video Assistant Referee (VAR), 31 will serve as an assistant referee and 16 will work as Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR).
