Inter Milan are preparing to table a fresh bid for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman after previous offers were turned down by Atalanta – www.isagoal.com reports.
The Super Eagles star has decided to leave Bergamo and is eager to play at the San Siro.
Inter have already made three separate approaches, but Atalanta rejected each one, insisting they will not sell to another Serie A rival.
Lookman, crowned 2024 CAF Player of the Year, has reportedly stopped training with the club and is in England recovering from a calf problem.
His current contract runs until 2027, and Atalanta are demanding around €55 million for his signature.
According to Buchi Laba, Inter’s next proposal is expected to match that valuation, with hopes of finalizing the move before August ends.
Christian Chivu’s side are determined to boost their squad depth ahead of the 2025/26 season.
