Kelechi Iheanacho is on the verge of sealing a move from Sevilla to Turkish Super Lig side Samsunspor — www.isagoal.com reports.
The Super Eagles forward has been linked with several clubs this summer, but talks with Samsunspor have advanced rapidly.
According to report, the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms worth €1.2 million annually.
Negotiations continue over Sevilla’s €3.5 million asking price, which would surpass Samsunspor’s transfer record.
Iheanacho joined Sevilla on a free last year but struggled for game time behind Isaac Romero.
A loan spell at Middlesbrough produced just one goal and two assists in 15 appearances.
Mexican side Pumas UNAM and Turkish giants Besiktas had also shown interest earlier in the window.
Samsunspor, who finished third last season, aim to strengthen their attack for a title challenge.
