Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Galatasaray is now being finalized, with both clubs currently exchanging and signing off on the final paperwork www.isagoal.com reports.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano and Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, lawyers from both Napoli and Galatasaray are working overtime to complete the formalities before the weekend deadline.
After weeks of back-and-forth, both sides came to a breakthrough agreement on Osimhen’s move earlier this week.
Though Galatasaray had already accepted Napoli’s €75 million valuation, the talks dragged on due to details around payment breakdown and guarantees.
The Turkish giants will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million due by the close of 2026.
Napoli will also receive up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses, plus a 10% cut of any future sale.
Osimhen leaves the Italian club after five years, the last of which he spent on loan at Galatasaray, where he found strong form in front of goal.
He scored 65 goals in 108 Serie A appearances, and earned the Capocannoniere crown during Napoli’s 2022-23 title-winning campaign.
“Osimhen was unstoppable for Galatasaray last season,” one club insider said, as he recorded 37 goals and 8 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
