Ademola Lookman has turned down a transfer approach from Napoli, despite growing interest from top European clubs this summer, Isagoal can report.
According to report, Napoli contacted Lookman’s representatives with an offer to bring him to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, but the forward declined.
The Atalanta winger is focused solely on joining Inter Milan, who have already tabled a €40 million bid with an annual salary of €4.5 million, potentially rising to €5 million.
Inter Milan reached the 2025 UEFA Champions League final and see Lookman as a major addition to their front line.
Lookman, 27, is recovering from a calf injury but remains in high demand across Spain, England, and Italy.
A five-year deal with Inter has already been agreed on personal terms, but Atalanta are holding out for €50 million.
“He only wants Inter Milan,” a source close to the player told Inter News Italy.
Atletico Madrid also made inquiries but were turned down, though they are monitoring Inter’s progress in hopes of returning with a new offer.
Napoli are also preparing for Victor Osimhen’s expected move to Galatasaray and have explored Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez, but the cost remains a hurdle.
Lookman is now pushing Atalanta to finalize his departure.
