“100% Staying” – Boniface Shuts Down AC Milan Transfer Rumor

Victor Boniface breaks silence on transfer buzz as he confirms he's staying at Bayer Leverkusen, despite recent links to AC Milan and Al-Nassr

Victor Boniface has shut down transfer rumors linking him to AC Milan, firmly stating that he’s committed to Bayer Leverkusen, Isagoal can report.

In a recent interview with Bild, the Nigerian striker said, “Absolutely, my future is here. From my side, it’s 100 percent clear that I’m staying.”

Boniface has three years left on his contract and says his focus is on winning trophies with the Bundesliga side.

“I want to win titles with Bayer, have a great season,” he added, brushing off speculation of a move.

He was linked with AC Milan, Galatasaray, and Al-Nassr this year, but none of those rumors materialized.

A potential move to Al-Nassr in January fell through after the Saudi side chose to sign Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán instead.

“It is what it is. The transfer didn’t happen, I’m still here,” Boniface said.

He also revealed personal talks with Bayer’s sporting director Simon Rolfes during a tough period last season, saying, “I love it here.”

Leverkusen have already lost Florian Wirtz, Jonathan Tah, and Jeremie Frimpong, so Boniface staying offers some stability.

Now under Erik ten Hag, the club enters a new chapter after Xabi Alonso’s title-winning era.
