Manchester City have signed the most lucrative kit deal in Premier League history, extending their partnership with Puma in a deal worth up to £1billion, IsaGoal can report.
The new agreement will see Puma remain City’s official kit manufacturer for at least the next ten years, commanding a staggering £100million per season.
The Guardian revealed the long-term extension eclipses any other kit partnership ever signed in English football.
Chief executive Ferran Soriano expressed pride in the renewed partnership, saying: “We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.”
Soriano praised Puma’s role in City’s success, adding: “Puma have seamlessly integrated into our organisation, and we’ve enjoyed many historic moments together, engaging fans globally.”
Under the Puma brand, City have lifted four straight Premier League titles and celebrated their historic 2022/23 treble-winning season.
Their women’s team also brought home both domestic cup trophies, while the youth squads dominated the Premier League 2 and FA Youth Cup.
The new deal allows both Puma and City to continue pushing creative boundaries in kit design, including tributes like the Colin Bell shirt and digital launches via platforms like Roblox.
Puma CEO Arthur Hoeld said: “Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success were exceptional.”
The announcement comes while City await a verdict on 115 alleged breaches of Premier League financial regulations.
Despite a months-long independent hearing, a resolution isn’t expected before summer, with City continuing to deny all charges.
