Jadon Sancho is closing in on a move to Juventus as talks between Manchester United and the Italian giants progress positively, IsaGoal can report,
According to TEAMtalk, discussions have advanced on both the club and player side, with Sancho ready to accept a major pay cut to make the deal happen.
The winger, 25, reportedly agreed in principle to a four-year deal worth €7m per year—around £115,000 per week—significantly less than his current £250,000 wage at United.
Manchester United are open to selling Sancho for around €25m (£21.5m), a huge drop from the £73m they paid in 2021. Juventus hope to lower that fee even more.
Juventus general manager Damien Comolli is leading talks and confident an agreement will be struck soon.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, where he showed glimpses of his talent but struggled for consistency.
He sees Juventus as the ideal place to revive his career and is attracted by their 3-4-2-1 system under Igor Tudor, which could allow him to play as a central attacking midfielder—his preferred role.
Sancho will need to improve his dribbling and decision-making, particularly against Serie A’s tight defensive setups, but his technical style could thrive in Italy.
Manchester United are also expecting a financial boost from a sell-on clause in Anthony Elanga’s potential move to Newcastle, adding to their summer budget.
