Victor Osimhen could be heading for a major summer transfer, but Manchester United won’t be his next stop, IsaGoal can report.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano made the revelation during his latest YouTube update, as reported by Caught Offside. He said United aren’t negotiating with Napoli, despite growing chatter among fans.
“I keep receiving many questions from Manchester United fans, but at the moment, I am not aware of concrete negotiations between Manchester United and Napoli for Victor Osimhen,” Romano explained.
Osimhen spent last season on loan in Istanbul, and Galatasaray remain keen on bringing him back. Romano confirmed that both Galatasaray and Al-Hilal are actively working on a deal.
“Galatasaray are trying, obviously with a different financial proposal compared to the one from Al-Hilal,” he said. “So both clubs are in conversations to sign Victor Osimhen.”
Despite strong performances in Turkey, Osimhen has reportedly fallen out with Napoli’s new boss, Antonio Conte. Reports suggest Conte prefers Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez, creating uncertainty around Osimhen’s role.
Romano also dropped a surprise—Juventus have now contacted Napoli and Osimhen’s representatives directly.
“Let’s see what’s going to happen there because Juventus called in the recent weeks for Osimhen,” Romano added.
The Nigerian striker has a €75 million release clause, and with multiple clubs in the picture, his decision could come down to playing time and location.
Sources close to the player believe he still prefers staying in Europe, where he’s made a name as one of the most dangerous strikers in recent years.
