Parma have opened discussions with Watford for a potential deal involving midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru, IsaGoal can report.
According to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, the Serie A side is keen on the 25-year-old, who is eyeing a fresh start after six seasons in England.
Dele-Bashiru, a product of Manchester City’s youth setup, is the elder brother of Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
He featured for Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup and made his U23 debut later that year in a game against South Africa.
The midfielder has told Watford he’s ready to move on, and the club is willing to let him leave — but only for the right price.
His current contract runs out next June, and without triggering a one-year extension, Watford risk losing him on a free transfer.
The club had previously valued him around £8 million when Ipswich Town showed interest earlier in the transfer window.
Dele-Bashiru played 30 matches last season, despite a knee injury sidelining him mid-campaign.
When fully fit, he missed just three games, underlining his importance in Watford’s midfield.
Watford are now weighing their options, as Parma step up interest in a deal that could benefit both clubs.
