Manchester United could soon part ways with one of their longest-serving stars, IsaGoal can report.

Marcus Rashford is reportedly on the verge of leaving Old Trafford during the current transfer window.

As reported by GiveMeSport via Fabrizio Romano, the England international is eyeing a fresh start after slipping down the pecking order.

Rashford, 27, joined United’s academy as a kid and has made over 420 senior appearances, scoring 138 goals and delivering 77 assists.

However, he was sent on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of last season after struggling for game time under Ruben Amorim.

At Villa Park, Rashford netted four goals and assisted six times in just 17 matches under Unai Emery.

Now, with Amorim rebuilding the squad following a disastrous 15th-place Premier League finish, Rashford appears to be surplus to requirements.

He’s believed to be targeting a Champions League return and is particularly interested in joining Spanish champions Barcelona.

While Barça haven’t officially made a move, talks are expected to pick up pace as the transfer window unfolds.

United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves and begin their pre-season against Leeds United in Stockholm on July 19.

They will also face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton during a U.S. tour before the season opener against Arsenal.

Rashford’s current deal with Manchester United runs until summer 2028, but his Old Trafford chapter may soon come to an end.

“Marcus wants Champions League football — that’s his priority,” Romano revealed in his latest column.
