Victor Osimhen has been hit with a ‘mind-blowing’ contract offer from Saudi club Al Hilal, IsaGoal can report.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Saudi Pro League side is prepared to pay Osimhen around £34 million per year, with the total deal potentially worth £140 million over four years.
The Nigerian striker, who recently spent a season on loan at Galatasaray, is considering his next step after being told by Napoli boss Antonio Conte that he is no longer part of their plans.
Osimhen enjoyed his time in Turkey, scoring an impressive 37 goals across all competitions to help Galatasaray lift the league title.
While Galatasaray are open to a permanent deal, Osimhen is keen on testing himself in the Premier League, with Manchester United and Arsenal previously holding talks.
However, both Premier League sides are now focusing on other striker targets like Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko.
Al Hilal’s latest approach is a significant upgrade after Osimhen rejected their earlier offer.
His release clause sits at £64 million, which Al Hilal are ready to activate immediately if Osimhen agrees to the move.
Former England defender Rio Ferdinand believes Osimhen is still waiting for a Manchester United offer, saying: “It looks like he’s turned down Al-Hilal… he must be waiting for Manchester United.”
Chelsea almost signed Osimhen last summer, but their recent capture of Liam Delap means the Blues have likely moved on.
Former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel told The Evening Standard: “Everybody knows who I want to come to the football club and who the fans want to see at the football club [Osimhen].”
Despite missing out on Chelsea, Osimhen’s options remain open as he weighs his next big career decision.
