Real Madrid have officially signed Franco Mastantuono from River Plate, with the talented teenager set to join the Spanish club after participating in the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to Realmadrid.com, Mastantuono has agreed to a six-year contract that will keep him at Real Madrid until June 2031.
The 17-year-old, who rose through River Plate’s academy, made history as the youngest player to score for the club.
“Franco Mastantuono will be a player for our club for the next six seasons,” the club confirmed.
Mastantuono also holds the record as the youngest player to appear for Argentina’s national team.
