Manchester United have held discussions with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is keen to make a move to the Premier League. The Serbian forward’s representatives are actively working to secure a transfer to England.
According to TEAMtalk, Vlahovic’s agents recently met with Manchester United officials, although the meeting was initiated by the player’s camp rather than the club. The conversation was reportedly positive, but Vlahovic is not currently a priority target for United, who are exploring other striker options.
United manager Ruben Amorim is pushing to strengthen his attack, focusing on players like Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP. Talks for Gyokeres are said to be challenging, which could leave the door open for Vlahovic if other deals collapse.
Vlahovic, 25, has attracted interest from several clubs, including Nottingham Forest, AC Milan, and Fenerbahce. Forest is currently seen as the most appealing destination for the striker, though Milan is also in the race. Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce is not expected to be a realistic option at this time.
Everton had been linked with Vlahovic, but sources dismissed those reports due to the player’s high wage demands, reportedly around £190,000 per week.
Vlahovic’s camp remains patient, waiting to see if Manchester United or another top Premier League club will make a formal move. “His heart is set on a Premier League transfer,” a source confirmed.
