Barcelona made it three consecutive wins in this season’s Champions League with a 5-2 victory over Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade.
The match kicked off with Barcelona taking an early lead within the first 12 minutes, thanks to an exquisite free-kick from Raphinha which Inigo Martinez converted.
However, Crvena Zvezda quickly responded, with Silas equalizing for the hosts.
Just before halftime, Barcelona regained the advantage when Robert Lewandowski scored his 18th goal of the season, capitalizing on Raphinha’s shot that had struck the woodwork.
Barcelona seized control in the second half, extending their lead to 4-1 within 10 minutes.
Lewandowski netted his second goal of the match, before Raphinha added a goal of his own from outside the box, both assisted by Jules Koundé.
In the final stages, Fermin Lopez made it 5-1 with another assist from Koundé.
Crvena Zvezda managed a late consolation goal through Milson, but it just wasn’t enough.
This win sees Barcelona move into the top eight of the Champions League standings.
