In a thrilling encounter on Sunday, Manchester City fought back to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw against 10-man Arsenal, maintaining their position at the top of the Premier League table.

City now sit on 13 points from five games, while Arsenal trail in fourth with 11 points.

City took an early lead in the ninth minute when Erling Haaland latched onto a perfectly placed through ball from Savinho and slotted it past Arsenal’s goalkeeper David Raya.

Arsenal responded quickly, leveling the match in the 22nd minute when Ricardo Calafiori fired a stunning 20-meter strike, his first goal for the club.

City were caught off guard by a quick Arsenal free kick, which infuriated Pep Guardiola, visibly frustrated on the sidelines.

Arsenal then took the lead just before halftime, as Gabriel rose high to head home Bukayo Saka’s corner.

However, Arsenal’s momentum was halted when Leandro Trossard was sent off for a second yellow card after delaying a restart by kicking the ball away.

Despite playing with 10 men for the entire second half, Arsenal came close to securing a rare victory at the Etihad.

But in the 98th minute, Stones bundled in a close-range equalizer, saving City from a home defeat and maintaining their unbeaten streak.
