Valencia striker Rafa Mir has been arrested by the Spanish Guardia Civil for an alleged sexual assault, as confirmed by the club on Tuesday.

The woman alleges that both she and her 21-year-old friend were sexually assaulted by Mir and another man at the footballer’s residence.
Valencia released a statement confirming they were aware of Rafa Mir’s arrest and that they will cooperate fully with the justice system.
The club aims to ensure that due process is followed, while also maintaining the integrity of the investigation.

His career includes stints at various clubs, including Wolves, Las Palmas, Nottingham Forest, Huesca, and Sevilla.
