Golden Eaglets head coach, Nduka Ugbade says his young guns are highly motivated ahead of their quarter-final clash against Burkina Faso.
The two-time champions will do battle with the Young Stallions at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Algiers on Thursday.
Aside from a place in the last four, the winner of the contest will also a earn a ticket to the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Ugbade highlighted the importance of the game which according to him will be difficult.
“This match will be important for us as it will qualify us for the World Cup. Burkina faso has a really good team and we have played against them before and we experienced a very difficult match. We expect it to be the same in the quarter final,” Ugbade told a press conference on Wednesday.
The former defender also revealed he has discussed the importance of the game within his players.
“My message before the match to the players is that these competitions are usually intense, and I told them we must have the will and play the match as it should, and stressed that winning makes us qualify for the World Cup,” Ugbade added.
