Golden Eaglets striker, Light Eke is confident the Golden Eaglets can win a third title at the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria.
The Nigerian boys, who claimed the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana last May are among the favourites to win the competition.
The Eaglets are drawn in Group B with Zambia, Morocco and South Africa.
Nduka Ugbade’s side will begin their campaign against Zambia at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine on Sunday.

Eke said the team has prepared adequately for the competition and ready to take on all opponents.
“Based on our preparation I know that we are very ready for this tournament,” Eke said on NFF TV.
“In our group we have opponents that we know and who are very good.
“But like I said based on our preparation we came here knowing that we are going to win the trophy and also qualify for the World Cup.”
