Liverpool have been offered the chance to sign PSG defender Lucas Beraldo, with the Brazilian’s representatives actively seeking a move away from Paris, IsaGoal can report.
As shared by journalist Graeme Bailey, Beraldo’s camp has approached several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Bournemouth, in a bid to secure a summer transfer.
PSG are reportedly open to letting the 21-year-old leave just six months after signing him from Sao Paulo.
Despite being labeled a “spectacular” talent, Beraldo struggled for game time under Luis Enrique, starting only once in the club’s triumphant Champions League run.
He also featured in three Club World Cup games, including PSG’s 3-0 final defeat to Chelsea where he stepped in due to suspensions to Lucas Hernandez and Willian Pacho.
The Brazilian earns around £55,000 per week and is under contract at PSG until 2028, but a sale is now on the table.
Bournemouth have made an enquiry, while Chelsea and Liverpool are considering the opportunity.
PSG are eyeing Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi as Beraldo’s potential replacement, with the English club valuing him at £60 million.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also pushing to complete a separate deal for Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, who is expected to cost over £70 million.
Ekitike has reportedly agreed to a six-year contract with the Reds, despite interest from Manchester United and Newcastle.
If Beraldo and Ekitike join, Liverpool’s transfer window could shape up as one of the boldest under Arne Slot’s new era.
