Victor Osimhen nets brace to help Napoli thump Juventus in Serie A

Luciano Spalletti was sensational in his praise of Victor Osimhen after his two-goal heroics powered Napoli to a resounding 5-1 victory over Juventus on Friday.

The 24-year-old Nigerian striker, Serie A’s top scorer this season with 12 goals, put on a clinical display as he tormented Juve’s defence and added an assist for good measure.

Spalletti spoke highly of Osimhen’s potential, commenting on victories in tough situations due to his speed, skill, courage and physicality.

Despite the striker having taken some hard knocks during the game, Spalletti remains confident that greatness is yet to come from him.

He also gave recognition to the collective performance showcased by his team while expressing awe at the crowd for the atmosphere they generated.
