Three of the goals scored by the Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been picked by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) among the top 10 goals of the recently concluded Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Jude Sunday’s goal in the 4-0 win against Tunisia, Ibrahim Muhammad’s strike against Mozambique and Solomon Agbalaka’s powerful header versus Egypt all made the shortlist.
Sunday dribbled past three Tunisian defenders before unleashing a ferocious shot into the net.

Winger Muhammad fired home from the edge of the box in Flying Eagles’ 2-0 win against Mozambique in their final group game.
Agbalaka made the list for his decisive header in the 1-0 win against hosts Egypt.
Ladan Bosso’s side were also awarded the Fair Play award at the end of the competition.
The Flying Eagles finished in third position at Egypt 2023.
