Thomas Tuchel Identified as Man Utd’s Top Candidate if Ten Hag is Sacked

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Manchester United may consider Thomas Tuchel as a potential replacement if they decide to make a managerial change.

Erik ten Hag, only three games into the new season, is already under pressure following consecutive defeats, including a significant loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Despite backing from the new United hierarchy over the summer, where they made several signings and reshuffled the coaching staff, many of last season’s issues persist, raising doubts about Ten Hag’s future.

Amidst this turmoil, contingency plans are reportedly being considered. Should the situation worsen, Manchester United might pursue Thomas Tuchel as a replacement.

Tuchel, who left Bayern Munich last season without adding silverware to the club’s cabinet, has a commendable managerial record.

He impressed during his tenures at Borussia Dortmund, PSG, and Chelsea, where he won the Champions League.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe had discussions with Tuchel in the summer, but the decision was ultimately made to continue with Ten Hag.

Another potential candidate, Gareth Southgate, is reportedly not being considered.

Southgate recently ended his eight-year tenure as England manager and, while admired by some within the Premier League, is expected to take a break before considering a club management role.

Amidst all the speculation, CEO Omar Berrada has reiterated the club’s support for Ten Hag.

He emphasized that Erik has delivered trophies during his tenure and that the club is fully behind him.

Berrada stated, “Erik has our full backing, and we have worked very closely together, particularly during the transfer window. We firmly believe he is the right coach for us.”
