Manchester United’s pursuit of summer transfer target Victor Osimhen could reportedly cost the Premier League side £90 million.
The 24-year-old striker has been in stunning form for Napoli this season, with 14 goals and four assists in 16 matches helping the Serie A side rise to the top of the table.
According to ESPN, Osimhen also has interests from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Nigerian arrived at Napoli last year after catching eyes in Ligue 1 with Lille, and since then he’s scored 43 goals in 83 appearances for his current club.
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure back in November, United are on the lookout for a prolific goal scorer who can replace his absence up front.
Marcus Rashford is currently their main attacker, while Wout Weghorst signed on loan from Burnley earlier this season.
The Red Devils have also been linked with strikers such as Harry Kane and Dusan Vlahovic; but so far high-value targets like Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski have already joined new clubs within the past year making them unattainable for now.
