Liverpool have reportedly contacted Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindstrom, with Arsenal thought to also be keeping tabs on the £27m Dane.
According to Tipsbladet, Liverpool have enquired into Lindstrom’s availability, though it is unclear if the Reds will make an actual offer for him at this stage.
Meanwhile, TalcioMercato recently reported that Arsenal are in talks with Lindstrom and his club over a January move.
Liverpool do already have some solid options out wide with Luis Diaz out through injury, but the recent arrival of Cody Gakpo could lead to them passing up on the opportunity to sign Lindstrom – even though he is a known admirer of the Merseyside club.
With Arsenal also interested and taking into account how Jesper has only recently moved into a central position at Eintracht Frankfurt, it may be best for Klopp and co. to pursue somebody who is more comfortable in the attacking midfielder role they desperately need some reinforcements in.
