Mourinho Set to Take Over as Brazil Coach After Tite’s Dismissal – Reports

Rumours abound that Jose Mourinho has been offered the role of Brazil’s head coach.

Former Selecao international Carlos Alberto claims he was also invited to be part of Mourinho’s coaching staff.

Recent reports had linked Mourinho with the manager job for Portugal, though Roberto Martinez is said to be the frontrunner for that post.

Meanwhile, his current club, Roma, has stated their intent on keeping him after leading them to a Europa Conference League title last season – the Italian side’s first European trophy in over six decades.

Already possessing five European titles in his back pocket from his time with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter and Spurs (formerly Manchester United), it remains to be seen whether or not Mourinho will accept this offer from Brazil and join them in their quest to bring home more silverware.
