Moffi Nominated For Ligue 1 Best African Player Award

Nigeria forward, Terem Moffi has been nominated for the Ligue 1 Best African Player of the Season award.

Moffi was nominated following his impressive displays in the French top-flight Lorient and OGC Nice this season.

The Nigeria international linked up with Nice from Lorient in January.

The 23-year-old has scored 19 goals in 29 league appearances this season.

Victor Osimhen picked up the individual award named after former Cameroon international, Marc-Vivien Foe in the 2019/20 season.

Moffi is nominated along with 10 other players; Achraf Hakimi (PSG), Yunis Abdelhamid (Reims), Mama Baldé (Troyes), Mohamed Camara (Monaco), Habib Diallo (Strasbourg), Seko Fofana (Lens), Chancel Mbemba (Marseille), Marshall Munetsi (Reims), Salis Abdul Samed (Lens), and Hamari Traoré (Rennes).

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 30.
