Mason Greenwood: Man Utd and Erik Ten Hag make statement after charge dropped

Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag have both issued statements on the future of Mason Greenwood after police charges against the forward were dropped.
The club said that they would be conducting an internal review before determining what, if any, further steps to take with regard to his future with the club.
Ten Hag, speaking in a press conference ahead of Saturday’s match against Crystal Palace, declined to comment on the matter but did refer reporters to Manchester United’s official statement.
It is currently unknown whether or not Greenwood will play for the club again, as his suspension remains in effect until a decision from the internal review has been made.
Despite his current suspension, Greenwood recently signed a four-and-a-half-year contract extension with Manchester United which does keep him at the club until 2025.
