Manchester United completed an amazing comeback in the fifth round of the FA Cup against West Ham on Wednesday night.
After going 1-0 down, following Said Benrahma’s powerful strike into the top corner in the 54th minute, United responded with a stunning 3-1 victory to book a spot in the quarter-final tie against Fulham.
The Red Devils thought they had equalised through Casemiro’s header but saw it ruled offside by VAR until Nayef Aguerd’s own goal in the 77th minute levelled the scores.
With only minutes to spare, Alejandro Garnacho curved in a sensational strike past Alphonse Areola, before substitute Fred added another to send United through.
Following their win, Manchester City will face Burnley and Vincent Kompany while Brighton and Sheffield United take on Grimsby Town and Blackburn Rovers respectively in further fixtures of this round.
