Man Utd 7-0 loss to Liverpool leads to new rule consideration in FIFA

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

FIFA are considering introducing a new rule known as the “mercy rule” following Manchester United’s embarrassing 7-0 loss to Liverpool.

Referees’ chief Pierluigi Collina believes this could prevent teams from being humiliated by their opponents, as Andy Madley only added three minutes of injury time despite the six-goal difference and 10 substitutions during the game.

This would be an alteration to the existing regulations regarding stoppage time and is something that was seen at the World Cup but not yet adopted by the Premier League.

The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, recently suggested that leagues start using their method of timing and this could mean longer matches in the upcoming season.
