Frank Lampard has reportedly ordered a disciplinary sanction against Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure after the pair were involved in a dressing room bust-up.
According to reports from The Daily Mail, the Frenchman clashed with Lampard following the Toffees’ 2-1 defeat to Southampton on 14th January which apparently continued at Finch Farm training ground afterwards.
As a result, Doucoure was banned from training with the rest of first team and was instructed by Lampard to train alone instead.
This has increased speculation that the Chelsea legend is on borrowed time at Goodison Park with reports stating that he could be relieved of his duties as manager as early as Monday.
With Everton firmly entrenched in the relegation zone, fans have voiced their discontent with growing pressure being put on the Toffees’ board to make changes that could see one-time Burnley boss Sean Dyche take charge in Merseyside as soon as February 4th when Arsenal visit Goodison.
