Klopp set to replace Mo Salah with Porto star

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Jurgen Klopp is keen to add another forward to his ranks at Liverpool and the club is set to dip back into the Portuguese Primeira Liga with a bid for Otavio.

The Reds have already acted quickly by signing a replacement for Sadio Mane in a matter of weeks after the Senegal winger left for Bayern Munich in a deal worth £35million.

And with Mohamed Salah’s contract situation still unresolved, Klopp appears to be keeping one eye on replacements for his winger.

According to The Mirror, they are set to rival Premier League rivals Leeds in the race for Porto forward Otavio.

The 27-year-old scored three and assisted 11 in 32 appearances last season, catching the eye of several top clubs.

And the Reds are expected to firm up their interest in the Portugal international with a bid in the region of £34m – which will fall short of his £51m release clause.

Leeds have already seen a bid of £26m for Otavio rejected this summer, though the Whites are expected to table another offer for the forward.

Otavio would be a versatile option for Klopp given that he can play on the wing or as a no.10 in midfield, which should mean that even if Salah decides to extend his stay at Anfield, it would not scupper his chances of regular game time.

And given that Takumi Minamino is set to leave and Divock Origi has already departed, Liverpool will need to add depth back to their frontline.
