Jose Mourinho: Chelsea fans divided over return

Reports of Jose Mourinho eyeing a return to Chelsea has stirred up divided reactions among the club’s fans.

Mourinho had two previous spells at Stamford Bridge and is currently managing AS Roma, having previously been sacked by Tottenham Hotspur.

His first tenure at Chelsea ran from 2004 to 2007, followed by another stint after managerial positions at Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Now, Mourinho appears eager for a third run in the Premier League with the Blues, but opinion on it amongst Chelsea supporters is split; some welcome the potential return of their beloved ‘Special One’ as a plausible move to reignite their form, whilst others argue that his record shows he’s not suitable for a long-term project.

Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner is considered to be the favourite should Chelsea decide to part ways with Graham Potter following a lacklustre season thus far.
