Chelsea’s transfer talks with French club Olympique Lyonnais over signing right-back, Malo Gusto came to an end on Thursday when club president Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed that Gusto won’t be leaving the Lyon until the end of the season.
Chelsea had made an opening bid of £25 million for Gusto but the bid wasn’t accepted and reports say they were willing to increase their offer before today.
With no success in talks with Lyon, Chelsea is now looking at alternatives such as Pedro Porro of Sporting CP but Tottenham Hotspur have held advanced talks for him already.
They also receieved set back from Everton midfielder Amadou Onana as he rejected a move to Stamford Bridge.
