Kwesi Appiah has made it known that he is interested in taking over the Ghana National team for a third time.
Appiah was the first indigenous person to qualify the four-time African Champions for the World Cup back in 2014 and returned in 2017 before leaving in 2020 after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup and being eliminated in the second round of the 2019 Nations Cup.
He has since applied for the job which had become available after Otto Addo’s departure ahead of Qatar 2022, but is yet to hear back from The Ghana Football Association (GFA).
It is believed that he will be up against more than sixty other foreign coaches vying for the same post.
